Since its founding in 1968, Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory has provided families with educational learning and hands on experiences unlike any other. An integral part of Sunriver for fifty years, SNCO has encouraged exploring and understanding the natural world for generations. Looking forward to the future, we are excited to expand and enhance our campus, programming and experiences.
ONE OF A KIND EXPERIENCES
Over 5,000 K-12 students per year are a part of SNCO education programs that advance scientific literacy and nurture STEM skills in children. Field trips, school visits with naturalists and animal ambassadors, and a science focused diverse curriculum are all designed to spark students' curiosity in the natural world.
